Submission + - Apple Sued Over OS X Disk Utility (tekgoblin.com)

tekgoblin writes: "Yet another lawsuit concerning Apple, Now it involves the Disk Utility found in OS X. The Disk Utility in OS X is used to manage disk related tasks including but not limited to, permission repair, disk repair, mounting, erasing, formatting, etc.

Well supposedly the Disk Utility application is infringing on a patent from back in 1998 from Software Restore Solutions. Apple is even aware that they are actively infringing on this patent and have not taken any action yet to resolve this complaint."
